(Left: Another photo from my cemetary walk on Sunday.)Out of the twelve traits I listed in yesterday's post one of them is said by the authors to colour everything we do. So which do you think it is? It is the trait of idealism. So today's quiz determines where you sit as far as idealism is concerned.
Beside each statement put the number that corresponds to your feeling on that statement.
1 if you think it's definitely false or if you strongly disagree
2 if you think it's mostly false or you disagree
3 if you think it's equally true or false , if you cannot decide, or if you are neutral on the statement
4 if you think it's mostly true or if you agree
5 if you think it's definitely true or if you strongly agree

Add together the scores from questions 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 17, 20 and 22 and this is total A
Subtract the scores from questions 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19 and 21. This is total B.
If you scored 22 or more you rate high on idealism. 21 or less is low on idealism.
If you are both high on idealism you'll have a more harmonious, giving and fulfilling relationship.
If you both score low you will be good at protecting one another from deceit but will find it difficult to try new things due to the overwhelming suspicion you both always feel.
When one of you is high and the other is low the person who is high on the trait will often be shocked and hurt by the low-idealist person because they seem cold and callous. This often leads to major disagreements in spending priorities, friends and relatives, child-rearing, community involvement or where you live.
